Now that I understand what this thread is about, IMHO this was a large part of the problem, coupled with feminism and the destruction of the traditional family unit.

I don't think men understood the extent to which women would act out of hatred for them. Why, why the hatred? We never did anything terrible to women, some men did and some women did, but generally we've done our role with women constantly in mind.

How, when they got a little bit of power, did so many women decide it was all about beating men?

And why didn't men notice sooner?

Fortunately now I think men are stepping back from their protective role, and women are getting scared by that and noticing other women don't do anything for them (they always knew this). So it's been a rough time for men, and now it's a rough time for women too, and maybe that's what it takes to get some meaningful commitment to cooperation, maybe in a generation or so as the "feminists" age out of the picture and their daughters reject that way with disgust.

It can't be just talking points, or "meeting in the middle". It needs to be a wave of disgust with feminism and maybe with each other among women, before this situation can be built back up.
