The limo belonged to my grandpa who was a notable musician (sorry wont say) and It's a new project.

No Sir . I bought it the speedometer has less than 10000 miles on it and there's no engine but it does have the transmission. It's the bottom of the line for that year it's not an Iroc or anything but the bottom of that thing is like no rust! The top has surface rust us but that's easy to fix. My wife let me get it for Christmas a few years ago the guy only sold it to me for $500 believe that. He just wanted to get rid of it

Since you're a gear head, see about getting a few local young men interested in helping you restore stuff. You mentor, they apprentice and get some practical skills and old skool knowledge just in case SHTF and only those kind of vehicles are operational.

Sounds like a cool car. Wish you could post some pics here of it. I still build old cars too. Been doing it since I was 15. I prefer 65-74 model years. I do it all, engine building, body work and paint, interiors, electrical. Then I take them to the track and beat the snot out of them.

I will tell a short story. That limo I was riding in when my grandpa noticed Johnny walking down the side of the road entering the neighborhood. He says " What's going on man?"
"Awe shit I threw out a bag of shit on the way home arguimg with the old lady last night. Grandpa suggested he ride on the hood and ride slow to speed up the search. He found it and they spent the night consuming his recovered substances along with copious amounts of Coors.
