I was in the backseat with her friend and our heads hit the headliner pretty hard. The car bounced like a pogo stick after the landing. It was not fun and I never rode with her again! Not in a K car! 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 ESV Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Missing the front bumper. Has kind of a pissed off owl look in the front. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83629402 That has the turbocharged 215, right? Very cool cars and quite rare. I think they only made them for 2 years. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 ESV Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Wish we had old cars around like you folks in the states. Not enough room here so everything gets scrapped. Obvious to say but modern cars don’t hold a candle to older ones in terms of design, feel and enjoyment. Nice to see people talking engines instead of politics! |

The 215 was in the F85, Cutlass, and Jetfire might have had the turbo. They even had a glass bottle of methanol under the hood to inject into the intake. Hot little numbers, had the thrill of flogging one. The "Ultra High Compression" Olds engines were fun to drive. |

No fins on the 61, but 60 had fins at least a foot high. The "Sonoramic" equipped cars had the "crossram" intake, two 4bbl mounted on two separate intakes with runners about 30" long. Left carb fed the right bank, right carb fed the left bank. Sonoramic was Mopar's name for the intake, everyone else just said crossram. Of course the crossram and carbs appeared to be the only thing missing off that Fury. |
