And I said, "What is this, the burning bush? For God's sake, I'm not Moses." And the Voice said to me: "And I'm not God. What has that got to do with it?" |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 304329 United Kingdom 03/09/2008 11:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | England will be safer than the US IMO. The US is an expendable project.. it is just a giant corporation/warbase for TPTB, which has its routes mainly in Europe (London/Rome). Just do what you feel is best.. chances are shit won't hit the fan anyway, something else will change things for the better.. either that, or we're all screwed anyway lolz |

We have them here in the US and they are no that different are they? I have lived in Jordan, and found Arabs are better than you might think....they were in their homeland. Quoting: KahlshiLeaving aside politics and NWO issues, here are some important things that your son needs to consider very carefully: - At 21 what is he going to do in England ? study or find a job ? - Where in England ? London has an economy of it's own (in my view). - Be prepared to pay high costs of living, small space everywhere compared to US. I know of several people from US who have settled in London, but they are professionals with the kind of jobs in the City that pay over £100,000. However, many more migrants from Europe are struggling. . |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 353013 United States 03/09/2008 12:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If your son can get a British passport that would be a good thing. Holding a British passport opens up many more opportunities for living in various commonwealth countries worldwide. Many US people have British ancestry and therefore may be eligible for the British passport. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 388802 United Kingdom 03/09/2008 12:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No dont...too many paki's and black people over there. Thats why I moved away. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 388750You daft racist And according to the Home Office (HM Government), there is apparently (Approximately) over 7.9 million - 8.2 million EASTERN EUROPEANS (legal & illegal) living in Britain. Interesting how the racist always goes for the "colour" - YAWN! Also, when TSHTF in Britain (A.K.A. - V FOR VENDETTA) all "ethnic minorities" will be "removed" aka like the film, it is ALL a "Masonic Script" for the N.W.O. anyway! |

So he actaully does have a place to stay. Now as far as work goes, this is still unknown and part of the reason I posted this thread. He does not have a trade or college education, and thought it might be an option to get educated there. Is it hard to find work and is education hard financially to obtain there? Not having to pay rent is a great help as far as finance goes. Swindon is about 50 miles west of London and is perhaps just outside the daily commutable distance into the city. However, there are many companies that have re-located away from London and some have set up HQ in Swindon, so there should be jobs there. Education is not hard to find, overseas students need to pay the full fees but I don't know the current levels. There is the issue of work permit; I doubt US nationals are allowed to seek work in UK without prior application. Those US and Canadian professionals that I know of obtained High-Skilled work visa from British Consulate offices before moving here. . |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 139190;-) this is sean, her son talking now.. but my girlfriend whom i met here in florida, has jus went there to see her "mum" on vacation. she misses it there and wants to stay.. my options now are: Stay here and follow up with my army recruiter and join the service. -or- Goto Swindon, have a nice home to live in with my girlfriends mother, goto school, an possibly make a career over in england. i don't exactly know what i want pursay, but i feel like here in america im just "spinning my wheels and not moving anywhere". i kind've want a fresh start which is why i was going to join the military, but cathie(my girlfriend) jus shot me a text msg last night saying that she kind've wants to stay and asked me if i wanted to come along. so basically im here now so lay it on me folks i'd like honest answerd and not ridicule... thanks. -Sean Whether You Think You Can Or Think You Can't, Either Way, You're Right. |

Obviously everyone has their own dreams and ambitions, but if i was his father, or even friend, i would do EVERYTHING in my power to try and convince him NOT to join the army. Its one thing that makes me so angry, people believe they're doing good for their country, when really they're just pawns in some sick fucks game, who is playing both sides off against each other.. Try and make him realize this.. that if he joins he is merely agreeing to be cannon fodder in a giant illusionary game of chess. The "terrorists" are being helped, and funded, by the same people who will be arming and funding his side.. I hope you can talk him out of it. All the best to you |
