The country within a country say that the old Sioux trail was first called bad pass trail. Carbon dating 10,000-12,000 years ago. It was already there before the Sioux and Crows. The trail was dangerous unless used correctly the way in which intended. Horses were not meant to travel well on it. It could break their legs. It was meant for wolf dogs. Every 30-50 feet is a cairn, trail markers. They say counted so far were over 800 of them pile of rocks.
Quoting: Chromatophore What I noticed was the horses had short legs similar to the wild game that made the big trails that people then utilized to track and hunt. That is because greenery was kept to the waters which greenery is meant for the long legged horses in the east packs.
