Not driving at all. It isn't that they don't want you driving. It is that they have plundered the country and the great privilege of the US dollar will be gone and you just won't be able to afford to drive because you won't be able to afford the car, the fuel, or food for that matter. They don't want the whole system to come down - it is just inevitable that the system is collapsing (all economic systems collapse) and they are trying to make it seem like it is your choice as they transition through collapse mode. The same Idea with the media pushing the mini-houses for the younger people and so forth. In 1929 nobody purposefully reset the U.S. economy either. It was just another capitalist implosion. They just are doing pre-marketing now making it seem like standing in a soup line is good for the planet. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78107266 United States 07/20/2022 08:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If I built an electric car. It would weigh as much as a motorcycle The battery pack could be removed in seconds and replaced just as fast. It would be covered by vinyl cloth over a tubular frame for minimum weigh. It would cost under $6000 It would have three wheels with the rear wheel being the electric drive wheel. Every electric car produced by the automobile companies today is: Over priced. Over weight. Over built. In a complete contradiction of the stated goals for what an Electric car should be. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80039739 United States 07/20/2022 09:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Solar system of 100s of panels on hundreds of buildings all legally required emergency systems with solar charged battery banks have or are all failed! They work great in the day time! The battery's are dead some for a decade! I test them every year and submit a report and a purchase request with 3 quotes. Never money in the budget to replace them! 50-100 battery's at apx $500 each per building or $25,000-$50,000 for emergency lights every few years! And knowing this they install them in every new building! Cuz they are green! The battery warrantees are 3-5 years if kept in a area that the temp never rises above 75d f, That means AC 24/7 not one powered from the solar most or 75% do not have ac so no warrantee the battery's last a year or two in a 100d room SoCal LA area! $1000s each for 10s of thousands of small solar trash compactors (a trash can) that have never worked! Commercial lighting LED rip off in the old days we changed a light bulb fifty cents, Now it is $250 for a new electronic driver to make the LED function 90% fail rate @ 3 years! Not saving anything. The sheeppeople like it! You can not afford it! |

Heavy cars are safer in accidents. The moar energy absorbed by the car's mass, the less by you. Imagine freight train vs Civic for most extreme example. A lot of the things that make your ride bearable are heavy things. Good suspension, good insulation, good dampening, etc... Imagine going cross country across the desert in a rattle bucket vs a SUV. You might say "I'm a man, I can handle it!" But wait until you have young children. |

He says the horse breatges out CO2 which is used by plats which release oxygen which the horse breathes in again... The Corvette also releases CO2, which is absorbed by plants which release oxygen, which we all use, including the horse. BTW, The oceans are the largest CO2 sink. |
