2 Days/1963 will retell the JFK assassination from the mob's point of view
David Mamet is set to direct a new film retelling the assassination of John F. Kennedy from the mob’s point of view, but rather than just having a bunch of Italian guys watching the news and saying “this is an American tragedy that we had absolutely nothing to do with,” the movie will assert that—dramatic pause—the mob had something to do with it. Specifically, Mamet’s film—2 Days/1963—is operating under the theory that Chicago mobster Sam Giancana arranged Kennedy’s assassination as payback for his attempts to undermine the mob after they helped get him elected (a big part of Oliver Stone’s JFK).

On top of that, the film will have an added layer of (arguable) credibility, with Giancana’s actual grandnephew, Nicholas Celozzi, writing the script (Mamet, who is apparently some sort of accomplished playwright, will be doing a rewrite). This all comes from Deadline, with Celozzi saying that some of his information comes from chats he’d have with his family, like an uncle who was supposedly with Giancana during the two days he was in Dallas orchestrating the assassination and who was “the fly on the wall” during all of it.

This guy is worth a watch. Claims he fired the shot from the grassy knoll. Mentions plenty about mob involvement along with others who were hostile toward JFK.

JFK Grassy Knoll Shooter James Files tells us the events of exactly what happened leading up to the Assassination of late President John F Kennedy and the aftermath. This is his second interview in 2003, nearly 9 years later after giving us his first interview.

Re: 2 Days/1963 will retell the JFK assassination from the mob's point of view
Four things sealed JFK’s fate:

1. He screwed over the Chicago mob, who got him enough votes from both the living and the dead to put him over the finish line.

2. He was going to terminate the CIA, in his own words “scatter it to the four winds.”

3. He had given Ben-Gurion an ultimatum regarding the plutonium that had been stolen from Los Alamos by a j scientist, and told him that he would destroy Dimona (where they were intent on building nukes) if it wasn’t returned.

4. He was going to issue greenbacks, U.S. Treasury-backed notes that bypassed the Federal Reserve, which of course would cut into the bankster’s massive skim.

Those four groups - the Mob, the CIA, the Israelis and the bankers - had far too much to lose from his continued Presidency; thus Dallas.

There was also the military industrial complex. They stood to lose billions in missed sales if Kennedy ended the Vietnam war quickly.

Will be interesting to see if the movie names names. Was it the crew Files said he knew were there?

I've come to believe it was a perfect storm of all factions made nervous and/or downright pissed off by JFK's previous actions and future plans.

I feel it's entirely plausible that Files was telling the truth.

Definitely worth watching for me, and I'll watch without reading any reviews.

I can't wait to see it. I one hundred percent after years of research believe files killed jfk. There were several plans for that day but it was the mob who changed the course of history and why the cover up had to be so massive.

You have to remember who was higher up in the underworld hierarchy above the Italian mob, including the Giancana’s, in the U.S. at that time. Think Meyer Lansky and crew. Who controlled them? The Israeli government, of which they were a recognized arm.

I hope it makes it to the screen and without heavy redaction.

If you look at everything JFK was doing, he was poking the hornet's nest in many directions.

Here's another one, intending to share info with the USSR about space and UFOs. In fact, that's the subject of "the burned memo", in which the "operation will need to be wet" to deal with Lancer. Easy to find on a web search.
