Hopefully I'll be celebrating the SCOTUS ruling on WV v EPA, in favor of WV but we shall see in the next hour or so.

How about celebrating the recent rulings from SCOTUS? Nobody saw those coming down the pike and I find that worth celebrating as we may start seeing a culture/political shift.

Well, at least I have something to celebrate, my kids birthday. Pretty neat birthday. But when she was in grammar school I neglected to tell her about Independence Day since I always said that all the celebrations and fireworks going on were all for her birthday.
One day the poor child came home from school in tears from being humiliated in class as she told in all honesty that she knew nothing of this Independence Day thing and that it was all about her birthday. The class laughed. The teacher pulled her aside to fill her in.

To me the 4th is just an excuse to eat BBQ and drink beer so I'll still celebrate.
