Interesting stuff, Zenobia!

Lots of the Supreme Court stuff right now has me
DIZZY trying to figure out exactly where they are going
with all of it.

In the VIDEO AT THIS LINK (below) A professor from
N.Carolina's Columbia University states it fairly clearly:

States rights seems, IMHO to be a "big deal" right now
in the SCOTUS. States rights could actually be much more
fair in some cases. Too early to really predict anything, tho.

We'll just have to see!

Thx O's C! I've been tracking hard on what SCOTUS does before they break. This is some knock-it-out-of-the-park decisions they're passing down.

And for some reason, this song, this video has just been stuck in my head all day after this morning's ruling.

Would the Pentagon even honor SCOTUS at this point? Wouldn't this just fit the narrative that SCOTUS is rogue and radical?

Hell, I've been wondering how this all plays out against the backdrop of devolution, which is something most folks haven't got a clue about.

Is this just maybe providing some closure of sorts to the Plebs once it sinks in?

So, gotta' wonder how that will all play out. Some shady shit went down w/ a lot of state's BoE processes. Ought to be interesting since this will be her first gig on the bench.

So, since they wait 'til Oct sometime, it's gonna' be a long hot summer for whatever elites and ass-hats are left scurrying 'round.

Lot of shit can happen between now and then. Mainly those in states guilty of changing up w/ rules-n-regs of their election process will be scrambling in CYA mode.

Good point, any deflection at this point, Hail Marys incoming.

And I've got a side eye fixed upon SCOTUS siding w/ WVa against EPA. Could their decision actually have a domino effect which reins in all quasi-guvmint orgs/agencies that skirt around shit imposed upon the masses that goes against the Constitution?!

The phrase 'fraud vitiates everything' covers much more than just the elections arena.

She makes an interesting spin about what actually happened.

In both the NY State Gun case, and the Overturning of Roe, there are long detailed opinions that point out that, in the first case, the constitution specifically dictates you have a right to arm and defend yourself. In the second, a detailed explanation about how Roe was not based upon any reading of the constitution, and it actually had the 1973 justices create a framework regarding abortion and trimesters, which was clearly a work of legislation, not a judicial opinion and thus an usurpation by the 1973 court of the legislative function.

The idea that they are throwing out any opinion from the 19th century is bogus, one simply has to actually read their opinions to realize it. The Democrat Majority on the Supreme Court was intact from the 1930 Roosevelt Court up until the 5-4 Courts into the GWB era. They clearly were activists, and threw out any reasonable basis of following the constitutions or precedents.

Even the gay marriage decision (5-4) was throwing away recent court decisions in order to decree Gay Marriage. Clearly that decision is incorrect and should be overturned, and the States and People should be empowered to enact Marriage as per societies conventions, not by judicial decree.

Yes, totally agree, this is gonna' lead to some real interesting current cases' status considerations when held against the light of recent Justices' decisions.

I just pulled my boxed copy of The Federalist Papers to reread. Interesting to see how our Founding Fathers thought and also communicated back then. Also interesting to see Alexander Hamilton's input, someone I've always viewed as very questionable as to where his loyalties where at that time period.

Shameless bump for folks to talk about something over their outdoor grills today and tomorrow.

A lot of Truthers are now starting to talk about SCOTUS's decision backhanding the EPA for their overreaching ways and how the language our Justices used opens the door for widespread reining in of these ass-hats sitting in their Ivory tower fiefdoms.

Am gonna' keep dropping scraps (bigger than crumbs) that I'm comin' across elsewheres. Excellent 1 hr discussion of our Supreme Court, in fact the whole judicial system.

Synopsis....whole judicial sector is rotten to the core, bottom-to-top (yep, witness to that personally.

So, SCOTUS recent decisions have 'baffled' these guys, and others who expected the same ol' shit.

So, just got thru' listening to Dave's latest report (X22).

Schiff’s Move Failed, SC Ready To Release The Final Death Blow On The [DS]
[link to rumble.com (secure)]

Towards the end of his report, he goes over what is going on w/ tweets over on Twatter as to what folks are seeing as far as the forest-for-the-trees scenario w/ SCOTUS taking up this fall the case revolving around NC elections, Moore vs Harper.

Yep, it's gonna' be a very interesting fall, for sure!

Don't think but a handful of folks understand how important this will be when it comes to a decision handed down by SCOTUS right BEFORE the mid terms.

That said, hoping everyone has a fabulous weekend! :flag waver:
