I have a friend w/ 3 kids that lives in Phoenix. I keep telling her to stock up on water because they are going to run out soon and she just laughs at me and says "there's no way that's ever going to happen". She also says that if it's her time to go, it's her time to go. She's such an idiot but probably typical!

A couple of nights ago I looked the population growth of Phoenix for the last 50 years. It's grown by roughly 800,000 PER YEAR. In 1962 is was around 600,000 and now it's over 4.5 million. And that is just ONE city putting pressure on the water infrastructure in the desert. It's insane.
