The experts have weighed in and almost everyone agrees that not even a nuclear attack would be likely to infiltrate 700 feet of concrete. So, if you believe what the “experts” say, there is no way it is even possible. And if you are thinking September 11, a plane flying into the Hoover Dam wouldn’t even matter. It would be structurally insignificant. So, even if this is a message of sorts, it’s hard to believe that the Hoover Dam will ever be destroyed without a great unified intentional effort by the United States government. But it is weird, isn’t it?" Really? so no nuclear attack, no matter how big, could blow up the dam? Pretty broad statement what about a scalar vibrational attack? These people have in their possession technology most people can not imagine. Don't think for a minute this dam cant be destroyed using tech they have kept hidden. ET's Cinema PsychoMasonica |

It is my understanding that if the current trajectory of water loss continues Lake Mead will reach "dead pool" in a little over 2 years. What the tour guide doesn't say is that the actual generating capacity falls in tandem with the water level as it falls due to ever reduced pressure on the turbines. This dam provides electricity to 400,000 buildings/residences in Vegas. They are going to be in ever increasing trouble as the water falls and there is no reason to think it won't. I keep telling her to stock up on water because they are going to run out soon and she just laughs at me and says "there's no way that's ever going to happen". She also says that if it's her time to go, it's her time to go. She's such an idiot but probably typical! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83283176 I wouldn’t think anybody in Phoenix would ever think they didn’t have to worry about running out of water. |

Blow the Hoover Dam. Good-bye, Las Vegas.. No electricity for you. And ... Shut down the SW's power grid. Got solar panels?????? Orchestrated Chaos, folks. ORCHESTRATED CHAOS. Las Vegas gets electricity from natural gas turbines and some solar. [link to www.nvenergy.com (secure)] When I looked into it a couple years ago nearly all of the Hoover Dam generation is sold to California and AZ. Vegas hasn't been the primary buyer for decades. Vegas buys a very small amount like 8% or 10% and doesn't need to, it's just contingency planning. I think you can find the data somewhere on the Nevada PUC website. Nevada has enough gas and solar to power the entire state. The amount Hoover Generates is pretty small by modern standards - 2074 MW, but the dam is already paid for. |

Lake Powell is dangerously low because the river level in the Grand Canyon is normal. You dont have to believe me. just look at the videos. Lake Powell will dry up before whitewater rafting in the Grand Canyon comes to a stop. Blame the climate You dummies. The sun's cycles have more control on our temperature and weather than many will admit, and that is a sad state. |

Two years is a massive overestimate based on them lying about current water level and the rate of outflow. In the last 11 days it's supposedly only dropped a bit over a foot. Meanwhile actual video evidence with 4 very solid reference points between 12 days ago and yesterday show that the real drop has been 3-6 feet not a little over one! We're also just in the last two days entering the part of the year where it drops the fastest. From about the 4th of July to the first week of September even in the 90's when the lakes were probably 6-7x the size they are now it wasn't uncommon for an 8-18 inch drop PER DAY! The various states aren't even scheduled to meet for an emergency meeting until the end of August, meaning outflows will be close to normal between now and then. Even with my very conservative estimates and considering how hot it now stays into September, there's an extremely strong chance we hit dead pool by or before the multistage and federal government emergency meeting. People should ask themselves why exactly they're lying so egregiously about what's actually happening at the lakes and why the timeline they're giving before we have a serious problem is essentially 22 months longer than the real situation says it's going to be. You don't have two years, you may not have a full two months. roguetechie |
