That is one hell of a mistranslation! But I agree it is common. I have dealt with many countries in my career and the translators mostly had passable verbal skills, but horrid math skills. Because anytime a number was encountered, they would read it incorrectly. Even when the number was written with digits and decimal points. And to further compound the problem, although not relevant to this example, is India's absolutely insane way of writing numbers. I still don't understand it. But there are 2 digits then a comma, there are these things called Lakhs and Crores. Someone needs to go through their libraries, schools, etc and burn every reference to this utter stupidity. I am not a proponent of book burning, but in this case I make an exception! Burn that shit until it is gone. :) They have other special names for larger numbers.
