I live in one of these states and I decided years ago, I can't wait for my state to go bankrupt. Sometimes a drunkards hitting rock bottom is the only way to turn their life around. The problem is these states keep getting bailed out by the Democrats. Among the first things the Democrats did when Biden took office was to bail out these states that were about to finally go under, kicking the can down the road, prolonging the inevitable.

In last elections, it was only the big city and a couple other sanctuary (& higher welfare) counties that voted blue.

Although we are considered a blue state, the majority here are not lefty extremists, it is predominately only in the cities.

Most democrats I know/knew in the past are/were not extremists, more middle of the road union types, nowadays even the self-professed hardcore union democrats are not liking what's going on.

With that said, I never thought I'd see the democrat party lose it like they are now, they are leaning so far left, they are about to topple.

IMO: The biggest problem in this state, chasing people out of the well-to-do counties, isn't the crime (most of the nicer areas are fairly well policed) it's the insane property taxes, and prices of housing closer to the big city and orbit counties, while jobs are being moved to other states with lower taxes labor costs.
