Canker sore that won't heal. It's been over a year now. Supplements that used to heal them haven't done anything. Why?

My holistic doc told me to get on iodine due suspected low thyroid but she told me to get 1 drop and then dilute it in another bottle with 4 drops of water, and then paint my inner wrist. It came to the point where the stain wouldn't disappear and that meant I had enough iodine and to stop it. I'll try it again. Hmm...

Pretty much everyone is way short of iodine.
I take Dr. Lugol's 2% iodine solution. about 4 drops a day in a glass of water. Just drink it.
This equates to the amount in a typical Japanese diet that has a lot of seaweed and seafood. It can improve a lot of things, like Brain function, eyesight, and of course your thryoid function.

Nope, the zinc is perfect and I don't take it every day (but I should) it's Bisglycinate, the healthiest, most absorbable form of zinc.

A canker sore has nothing to do with an allergy, btw.

So this is only for the brave, but for my canker sores I use cayenne pepper. It hurts really badly for a few seconds but it basically cauterizes it. Good luck!

Thanks. I hardly ever did 1 drop in water a day. At first it helped my energy levels but then stopped. I did read that you told Feathery to try it. Might help many symptoms. I need to get up and try it now. Mine is a lot cheaper than Lugol's but same ingredients. I forgot the brand. It's in a dropper.

You probably have celiac disease. Stop eating all foods that contain even a trace or crumb of gluten. Also avoid dairy. This is the only way to heal.

I think vitamin A is necessary for proper development but unnecessary in old age… not sure I’d take this post at face value.

Folic acid isn’t any good for you either.

OP I can confirm iodine is good, I’ve been taking four drops a day for a couple months. I stopped for ten days at one point for a missions trip. But for that I weaned down to 1 drop and i was fine.

When I first started though, my thyroid swelled up so I stopped for 2 days and just eased into the dosage. I take selenium tho and other vitamins because they are important to keep the organs flushed properly. Iodine stirs up all the toxins in your system and that crap needs flushed. I mainly take zinc, vitamin c, the selenium and NAC. I have some quercetin too but all the crap is so expensive lol.
