I saw Judas Priest at Rob Zombies usual Halloween party around 2006!in Long Beach California . Rob Halford appeared on stage with like 300 pounds of leather trench coat and wearing spikes from earlobe to ankle and he hit EVERY note. He was phenomenal and deserved high praise for his voice and presence. Metal God no doubt.

So Jani Lane (from the famed hair band Warrant"), according to his ex, was drugged and raped at the height of his fame by a "very famous musician and his manager". I assumed he told her who it was, but I don't think she has said.

Thinking of the 80s and who was famous in metal. my initial guess would be Nikki Sixx or Tommy Lee were involved, because they seemed like real creeps. Ted Nugent also comes to mind. Whoever it was, in addition to having likely been mental from having been molested themselves, they probably did it under the guise of, “Oh, so you are super popular now, but guess what, you’re my bitch…” kind of thing.
