I also worked at a military hospital during the Vietnam War. I saw babies born...I even delivered one before the doctor arrived. I saw sick people recover, and we sewed them up in the ER....my favorite place to work! And I saw death. It's all part of the job. But everywhere I worked, except the recovery rooms and military hospital, we were short of help. It was so frustrating! Hospital administrators try to save money. One day I said, "No more!
