He does all of this mentally while performing mind numbing repetitions of the same daily chores required to see his crops to harvest.

It only gets worse when Animals are thrown into the mix, he has to have the skills of a veterinarian and eugenicist to ensure that his animal are healthy and free of genetic abnormalities.

Most scientific minds are little better than bottle washers and soil samplers.

Many people think being smart makes your life easier or better, it genuinely doesn't.

My mom did a report in college about heroin addicts and heroin addiction and one of the most shocking thing she found was that a large majority of junkies are above average to genius level intelligence on whatever scale you want to measure them by.

Being clever and one step ahead of the crowd can be fun, being 3-5 steps ahead of the crowd is fucking miserable.
