France has been using it for years. Why Germany didn't build more pebble bed reactors is beyond me. They tested it and showed not only it's effectiveness but it's higher safety v. rod plants.

The US should do the same. Build 30-40 pebble bed reactors of the same design so maintenance is routine.

So where's the difference between Gas and Fossil Fuels?

(Beside the fact that the term "Fossil Fuel" was a fairy tail concocted by Rockefeller.)

When they say gas, are they referring to gasoline or natural gas? As far as I know California is the only US state waging a war on natural gas right now, so if that's what they are referring to nothing will likely shift in the US as a result of anything the EU is saying.

I would really like to see some of the newest nuclear technology put into use. They have reactors that can be fully shut off without any outside influence, reactors that will automatically cool themselves down if something goes wrong and the reaction starts to run away, and reactors that can actually run using the nuclear waste we have left over from the nulclear reactors we are using now, so we could actually start converting our existing dangerous toxic nuclear waste into energy and help clean up the environment in the process.

Scientifically, and fundamentally, nothing.

But for purposes of taxation, and how much they want to charge you for "green" energy, about 1000% price increase.

Because as we all know, the more taxes you pay the government, the more "green" the planet becomes.

So dear one, if the meteor strike or emp or disaster occurs, what happens?

Don't use nuclear.

And use your sewage to create methane, not to mention the menthane pockets in the ocean. And sterilized fertilizers, instead of dumping it in water treated or untreated.

There, problem SOLVED.

And a truly clean solution it was at that!

Natural gas is scientifically not a fossil fuel as there is no organic or biological structures contained. When the Earth was formed billions of years ago, the massive gas cloud along with the other particulates slow imploded to form the planet.

The gas pockets trapped because of the formation process is billions of years before any life existed therefor natural gas has nothing to do with "fossil" anything.

This entire Green Agenda is being pushed by elite HEAVILY invested in Uranium.

They're collapsing the entire energy grid so we're so desperate for energy we're all willing to let them set up thousands of mini "next gen" nuclear reactors all over the Gdamn planet.

That is one thing France was so smart about. Why these plants were not built to standardized parameters is beyond me? Then again, no one asked my yet to be born self regarding the matter.

We havent even been able to contain Fukushima and it's been over 10years.

We shouldnt be converting the entire grid to nuclear until we have a reliable way of cleaning up the waste. I remember reading years ago about an organism scientists created that literally "ate" nuclear waste.

When we have an actual solution to this potentially world ending problem we can talk about 100% nuclear grid.

Fukushima didn’t meltdown. It got hit by a tsunami. The power plant survived the earthquake. It was being flooded by ocean water that destroyed it. As did everything that got hit by ocean water that day.

Don’t build nuclear power plants on the ocean is the take away from Fukushima. That’s it. Tsunamis can happen anywhere.

So is that "Green" energy when they produce waste product that is harmful to the environment and you have to store it permanently in areas meant to be temporary?

Modern nuclear plant designs can actually safely run on the spend fuel rods from the outdated plants we are using now, as well as from other lower quality nuclear fuel sources. It is conservatively estimated that the entire US could be powered for over 100 years just off of the spent fuel rods we are currently storing in the US.
