Yep: L.A. starting with the news that "COVID numbers are rising due to July 4th celebrations".

I never had Covid. In Metro Atlanta. Got the Johnson shot April 2021. Covid finally struck me, got chills Sunday, then phlegm Monday and had constant naps July 4th. Rapid test said positive almost immediately.

Really strange, I don’t have much urge to cough, but when I do, it sounds horrendous. Woke up spitting out red/black phlegm.

Honestly, I was asking for info outside the " news" because I believe most news is bullshit..what are you guys hearing ? Coworkers ? Family ? Here in the Bible belt , lots of conservative folks live here...that's a big reason I moved down here ( plus cheaper, sunny and warm!) Yet A LOT of these rural conservative folks got vaxxed......

I thought it was odd that four people I know which never got covid so far all got it and one was in hospital with pneumonia (older) all before July 4th (last week). One was in Dallas, other was Saint Augustine Florida other 2 were in Massachusetts. The only thing they all had in common was all were vaxxed.

I could feel it hitting and I remember what worked last time I got heavy lungs and difficulty breathing. So I was just tired a few days with a headache as long as I took the herbal combo that I used last time. I got Covid last September. This is my second bout.. Never vaccinated. My father in law is vaccinated and he is doing terrible with it. He doesn't believe in herbal remedies.

It's 100% bullshit.

This is damage control for all the jabbed idiots that are getting sick.

LOL, there isn't any valid test for any strain of covid so how could he possibly test positive. Stop being gullible.

Middle of winter here and the rotters are always sick.

Going around here. Mother just "had it" - not bad at all. She is in 55-over communnity with single level quad units. Seems over half there have "had it" in last month.

Business associate just flew back to UK (the UK). He had it and he indicated that he had heard of 7 close people in last 48 hours that "had it".

No vents, or hospitalizations it seems. Just told to "quarantine for 48 hours". No contact tracing or the other dramatics.

I did the math a while ago to determine how long it would take to infect the entire country, and it's quite a while.

These new variants keep instigating the immune response, making everyone who already had the virus walking vectors of infection again for an unknown time period.

A cancer patient was just confirmed to have Covid for 400+ days, so I don't think we really know whether we're sick or we're not sick anymore. The virus has been through a bunch of times already though for sure, including multiple Omicron variants, and the dreaded Delta Variant before Omicron, which was a very unique experience with the anti-body protection.

If another Variant with the strength of the Delta Variant emerges, we're going to have a serious situation on our hands, and everybody is going to get sick as hell again if it has the same transmissibility as Omicron.

Be safe everyone, it's still a lethal dangerous virus that hasn't gone anywhere. If you've never had it before, it's a threat to your life for sure, but much better treatments exist now then say a year ago.

I had it a few months ago. Was a weak flu. Y'all getting tricked, this is just the common flu and nothing more.

I had it two weeks ago. Not a big deal. Had flu symptoms for a couple of days, then got better. Tested negative after about a week.

I think as the strain evolves, it must be weakening. By now, we've all had Covid several times anyway.

East of OKC here. My sister in the next town over has pneumonia.

I thought who gets pneumonia when it's 100+ degrees outside?

Then I was getting a haircut and my barber told me lots of people have pneumonia right now. Okay, now I know why.

I'm the only one in my family not vaxxed, and the only one that hasn't been sick.

My other sister in the eastern part of the state has had a bad cold for a while, also her husband. He just got another booster because he's going on a golf trip to Ireland next week.

They pooh-pooh me because I'm a "conspiracy theorist".

That's what viruses always do in a natural environment. But fear mongering is on an uptick again saying new and more potent variants can come to life. Which is true, unfortunately, but due to the vaccines, and not naturally. Different races, ethnicities, people were injected with different vaxxes. The combinations are infinite, so many possibilities for new strians. But they are not telling you this, that this is the real reason. They expect this to happen. They just don't know when.

Commiefornia here... started having symptoms 7/2. Worst headache of my life which lasted about 3 days, the 3rd day off-and-on. Fever, chills, feeling hot and cold. Sweating it out while sleeping. My body ached, super fatigued and drained of all energy. No appetite over the course of these 3 days, now my 4th day with it and my appetiteis about 60% back.

Overall, I'm about 85% myself. I tested positive on the 4th day although I don't have any symptoms. No phlegm or congestion, runny nose or anything like that. This virus didnt have those symptoms. From my research, I believe it's that BA.4 or BA.5 variant going around. All is well now. I drank a ton of water, electrolit, all the necessary vitamins and a ton of sleep.

It's very contagious as I'm now a doctor for my family. Stay safe all, not vaxxed.
