I think it was the H-brew/Arabic slate of the Georgia Guidestones that was demolished [except it wasn't; it was the Hindi/Swahili slate ]

Drone footage from above shows top piece has damage on all four corners.

Earlier today, here in GA, it was reported as an active explosives scene.

It's possible some devices did not detonate correctly but the entire monument was targeted.

Too early to say for sure .

Yes it was. Very easy to determine this based on existing photos/diagrams and the orientation of that stone to the weird pedestal thing.

According to g00gle maps, the parking lot is north. Wiki says the stones order is clockwise from the north. The first is English/Spanish, the second is Swahili/Hindi.
It was the second stone that was destroyed.

Guidestones Road runs east/west just north (above) of the Guidestones.

The Guidestones are situated facing east parallel with Guidestones Road.

According to this diagram, it should be the H-brew/Arabic southeast slate that was demolished.

However, this all may be a moot point as it appears that all the engravings have been sandblasted clean off by the explosion. The capstone was split in half it appears.

I know that technically only one slate was completely demolished and the capstone broken in half, but the only fair assessment that can be had at the end of the day is that the Georgia Guidestones have been completely destroyed.

There are no engravings to be seen anymore, it is completely structurally unsound, and an integral slate of the structure has been reduced to powder.

It wasn't a failed attempt to destroy the stones. They accomplished their mission. It is an architectural ruin.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking was going to have to happen.

From a masonry perspective, there's really no salvaging such a devasting blow. It was structurally unsound and would have soon collapsed under its own weight.

We send our condolences to whomever needs condolences and that sort of thing.

It was the Hindi/Swahili slate that was destroyed as you can clearly see by facing the sun due east.

The H-brew/Arabic slate was the southwest slate.
