It looks to me like there was an explosive put into the stone itself. I've seen the way it shattered and went everywhere in little pieces before. Back in the day we used to blow up trees and rocks by drilling holes into them and placing little sticks of homemade c4 we would get from a university teacher who was also a truck driver.

If it was an explosion on the outside it wouldn't have shattered the way it did, if it was under the stone it would have just fallen over.

I think the lamp looking brighter was something to do with the shockwave of the blast causing the camera iris to open more. If you block out the top where the light bulb is and just look at the bottom where the light is shining on the ground, that light does not get brighter, the area it lights up does not increase and the shadows do not change.

Either that or it is some type CGI screw-up and we are not seeing the real explosion.
