I was the one that wrote the “trashed” thread a few weeks ago. Wasn’t me lol great timing though I didn’t predict anything, just an actual coincidence.

Hadn’t heard about this at all…didn’t think it was a real story. I read an article to double check and noticed in the article they say “conservative Christians” believe them to be bad, or some such thing. I believe they are trying to demonize conservative Christians, even though people of all walks of life know about it.

I don't normally jump on the "inside job" train, but as soon as I heard about this I thought it was fishy.

I first wanted to know which guidestone was blown up (it was the one with Hindi and Swahili languages on it), because putting explosives under only one of the guidestones, and not the central pillar, felt symbolic. If the bomber wanted to topple the whole thing, they would have done it from the center, right? Why only one stone, and that stone in particular? Why destroy Africa and India (regions of the world with the highest birthrates)? It feels like there's a message there.

And to make it weirder, the whole thing was demolished with what seemed like unusual haste. Granted, the explosion and missing guidestone may have destabilized the entire structure and rendered it a hazard, even though it appeared to be standing solid with the one guidestone missing. It no doubt would have been destroyed, lest it topple and squash some sightseeing conspiratard like a bug. But this was a crime scene, in a relatively remote area, and getting investigators there and conducting a thorough investigation takes time. I would have expected them to wait at least a few days.

Also, demolishing a structure this large usually requires a bit more planning, as it's a hazardous job in which a lot can go wrong, very fast. But no—they just got an excavator out there and yanked that sucker down. Granted, it's rural Georgia, and there's a "git-'er-done" attitude in places like that, but it still strikes me as odd.

There was speculation on Twitter that the destroyed guidestone would be replaced, but my first thought on that was, "No; the Guidestones have served their purpose. The message has been sent. Nobody is rebuilding anything there."
