The various constellations rise at different times throughout the year because we ARE looking in different directions. The only stars that stay the same are those that rotate around the Northern or Southern celestial poles but their altitudes will vary throughout the year. |

Earth is a sphere but it does not rotate or revolve. It is the fixed, center of mass of the entire Universe which moves about the Earth in a gyroscopic fashion. Tycho Brahe observed this hundreds of years ago and Michelson-Morley proved it experimentally despite their results being intentionally misinterpreted by the gatekeepers of the time. |
