The Earths movement- Motion and Stars.
You're suppose to believe that the Earth is spinning at 1000 mph at the equator, revolves around the sun at 66 thousand miles per hour, which travels through the universe at half a million miles per hour in a spiraling vortex.

Yet you dont feel any movement. I know what youre going to say. If you are just thinking of rotation you are going to relate it to a car moving at a constant speed.

That only works for one constant motion. When theres several changes in direction theres going to be motion felt at times.

Also, we see the same stars at night in december, as we do in june. But at night we would be looking at completely opposite directions.

I love seeing the cognitive dissonance so NASA shills and astroturfers......BEGIN.

idk ive been paying attention to the stars lately and something definitely is moving.

The current model does seem to fit

The stars are the same in winter and summer? Ever see Orion’s nebula in the summer? Quit displaying your ignorance.

so what in that deranged mind of yours is the alternative?

And since you were specific in your assertion
please be specific in your answer.

the car analogy still stands - the earth revolves imperceptible due to its slow rotation speed - only once every 24 hours - not 1 rpm which is very slow but 1 rpd ( round per day) - an extremely slow revolution

i thouroughly explained why it doesnt, mentioning the supposed speed and different motions involved. Yet you reply in regards to one again. If you cant understand what I said, then the topic is beyond your understanding.

The only movement you should feel is the rotation. All the others are orbital movement and you don't feel acceleration in orbit.

No we don't see the same stars at night in December vs June. The various constellations rise at different times throughout the year because we ARE looking in different directions. The only stars that stay the same are those that rotate around the Northern or Southern celestial poles but their altitudes will vary throughout the year.

Please, dont respond if your unable to understand the thread.
Just for reference, one of the worlds leading astrophysicist was actually asked about this in an interview and you could almost see the steam coming from her ears because even she knows with multiple different motions going on, theyre going to be periods where youd feel changes of speed.

She couldnt answer it.

I'm sorry you don't like the correct answer. That's a you problem. the fact remains that you don't feel acceleration in orbit/freefall and every motion apart from the spin IS an orbital motion.

Earth is a sphere but it does not rotate or revolve. It is the fixed, center of mass of the entire Universe which moves about the Earth in a gyroscopic fashion. Tycho Brahe observed this hundreds of years ago and Michelson-Morley proved it experimentally despite their results being intentionally misinterpreted by the gatekeepers of the time.

it doesnt matter if its an orbital motion or not. And wtf are you talking about free fall for? Do you just regurgitate things you read off www.thegovermenttellsyouwhattothink.com?

I swear, with the way people try to refute something on here.....I just imagine im talking to some 400lb mouth breather as they are driving around Wal Mart in an electric cart excited to spend their new welfare check.

It does matter because it means you won't feel the acceleration. And orbit is freefall. But thanks for proving you don't understand the subject. Again, I'm sorry you don't like the correct answer. But that is still a you problem.
