I just looked into the author. He wrote a book called "freedom from want: the human right to adequate food". He believes that food shouldn't be given but worked for. I don't think that He's especially wrong in the book. I read the summary and his belief. That's not a eugenic or socialist idea, its more of a hyper-capitalist one. I'm not sure what that article is but its an opinion piece by a professor and it lines up with article if taken a different way. He's sort of right. I'm not justifying the UN, its a world gov't of sorts and is absolutely demonic...my point is, this guy isn't necessarily wrong. We should work for anything that we have, even food and hunger is a driving force.

I would say so.. the hunger for service and soul growth is yet to be fully borned on this world.

I don’t think they would find a job. I think they would resort to theft and murder. And more drug dealing and other illegal activities that pay a lot of money. Not that many aren’t doing that now. Some may find a job but that is not your average welfare person. And not taking about those who really need it like the truly disabled and elderly. They need it.

I'm a Christian, so Biblically its sort of on the money. Why should people be handed things? I disagree with them saying "useless eaters" and that we should help those incapable, but we should be working for those things. Nothing in life is free.
