met with some of GF's family yesterday in a parking lot. 1 of them ran up and hugged her. they were talking outside with no masks. GF complaining she has diarreha. we came home, a few hours drive. she took a bleach bath. put her on horse oats today.

yes, it could just b from the trip and she is tired. but that has not happened before and we make the same drive several times a year.

well u want to trust the same ppl that gave out covid and then covid vaxes?

would u like more info? how bout the fact that the measle vaccines that we were given has been changed so it doesn't work as well as ours did. why would they do that-to save them $$ on making it. but now they recommend ppl get multiple shots. been a few measle outbreaks over the last decade or so.
they never tell us older ppl to get more shots. and only see younger ppl sick, <30 yr olds.

do u want a shot that could make u sick? how many take flu shots and get the flu? how many in today's world actually get sick from the shots themselves? much of that would depend on your health.

best idea would b to avoid large groups of pl. and when u hear of a local outbreak,such as u are now, duck and cover. b out and about only as needed. keep clear of hospitals. use PPE just as with covid. which u should b doing anyhow.

same rules now as 2020- AVOID AVOID AVOID. boost immune system with good vitamines and rest between possable exposures as long as u can.

I've never had the RSV shot, but I did get my last pneumonia shot right before the pandemic. I haven't looked into it, but it probably is an mrna shot now. I DO know that RSV can be serious in older adults, as well as children. You'll have to do some research on it on the googleweb.

We don't get the flu shot. Did a couple of times, years ago, but we're both 2 of the weird ones that get sick from it. Documented fact.

The commercials are really pushing ALL types of vaccines this year, just not the flu shot so much.

Sis...damn near died from a flu shot. Sick as I've ever been that was in "77". Been taking one since 2021 along with "Moderna's the shit Jabs" but I'm getting Jab shy again

I know they're pushing that one hard. All I can tell you is I'm not taking it. I can't keep putting stuff in that my kidneys can't handle. I'm down to bare basics these days. They don't even ask me anymore.

Mom got a bad case of shingles when my little brother died and was miserable with nerve pain til she died. She mostly had it on her face, so it was even more sensitive.

I'm afraid I'm kind of with Jazz on shots these days. I don't trust them anymore.

I really don't want to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't do. That's WAY above my paygrade. I just know that every single thing I put in my mouth, lungs, bloodstream goes straight to the kidneys and they aren't happy campers these days. I even have to be careful about lotions and things on my skin, so for me, I'm not getting shots that have scarier side affects than the diseases. Just my opinion. Not a medical worker of any kind.

Oh no, hon. It won't help, but thanks for asking. I'm in stage 5 kidney failure, trying to get a fistula to work so I can start dialysis. It was supposed to have started about a year ago. It's been a total nightmare, that's why I'm very protective of the little bit of function I still have.
