Hey there Sman.

And sc.... Oh my gods the insanity of the hype is weird. But I think it has more to do with the powers knowing how many folks cannot make good decisions to save their lives now.

That no news sources are touching on how many states are not even allowed to export poultry to just other states is a big woof. And that Tyson is leaving and their blaming it on costs when it's really the export ban...again woof.

Munchies are for eclipse day. It's looking like a cloudy day here.

CC, am curious what your take on the eclipse is. is it all hype or they warning us of something?

i don't see it being a CT event cause they would not warn us ahead of them pulling anything.

They have more information on what the true nature of the universe is than the average bear.

So I would imagine they are watching for the reset signs to and hoping they can have more control to ride it out.

We already hit all the warnings Alois irlamier (bad spelling) gave. And Russia and China are on their marks to go.

And even if ww3 isn't this x. Quality of life is going to keep trending down as all the COVID drain continues. Reinfections haven't stopped. And things like rsv and whooping cough are kicking ass thanks to it.

I know the native folks are praying the conquerors' god comes and takes them because they have had enough too.

It's likely that it's just too many people from the east coast have access this time. And that much movement is a good time for Russia or China or both to pounce.

CERN to test world's most powerful particle accelerator during April's solar eclipse to search for 'invisible' matter that secretly powers our universe

[link to www.msn.com (secure)]

This sounds like a great idea /s

OK, who is in the path of totality? I am. All eyes on the weather here right now. They are expecting over 1 million people to come to our area for this. We do not have the infrastructure to deal with all these people, so this should be interesting. Niagara Falls is going to have the most people EVER. NF is like wall to wall people during the season, I can't imagine what it is going to be like.
I will be hanging out in my back yard with my BFF. For the moment Mrs. Spinal has to work (crazy! they need to just be closed that day) for now.

What should I make for food? What's a good "Once in a Lifetime Eclipse" menu?
 Quoting: SpinalCracker

Scientists hope this experiment will reveal information about dark matter. Dark matter is thought to make up 28% of the universe, but it has never been seen or proven. By studying the collisions of protons at nearly the speed of light, scientists hope to gain insights into the formation of the universe and even its ultimate fate.

 Quoting: SpinalCracker

Appetizers:

Moon Cheese: You can use brie or camembert cheese and roll it in black peppercorns to resemble the moon's craters.
Sun-dried Tomato Bruschetta: These can represent the sun with their bright red color.
Galaxy Guacamole: Add some fun to your guacamole by making a layered dip with different colored vegetables like peas and corn representing the stars.

Main Course:

Blackout Burgers: These can be regular burgers on black buns or veggie burgers.
Eclipse Ravioli: Make ravioli filled with ricotta cheese and spinach, and top with a tomato sauce for a crescent moon look.
Cosmic Chicken: Chicken nuggets or tenders can be your celestial bodies. You can also try a chicken dish with a deep yellow sauce for a sun-like appearance.

Sides:

Milky Way Mashed Potatoes: These can be regular mashed potatoes or you can swirl in some cream cheese for a marbleized effect.
Solar Flare Fries: Regular fries or sweet potato fries work here. You can serve them with a spicy dipping sauce.
Twinkling Star Salad: Add cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls, and other colorful vegetables to your salad for a starry look.

Drinks:

Eclipse Punch: A purple or blue colored punch can represent the night sky.
Sunfire Orange Juice: You can add a splash of grenadine to orange juice for a fiery sunrise look.
Moonbeam Milkshakes: Vanilla milkshakes with a maraschino cherry on top work well for this theme.

Dessert:

Chocolate Crescent Cookies: These cookies can be shaped like crescents to represent the moon phases.
Sun-kissed Strawberries: Dip strawberries in melted white chocolate and decorate with sprinkles for a sparkly sun-like appearance.
Milky Way Ice Cream Pie: Use vanilla ice cream and top with chocolate and caramel sauce for a swirled galaxy look.

Happy Easter! Bok bok!

CC, I'm so glad you are okay! I was worried about you.

Jazz, I am re-reading a book that I think you might like.
"The Last Centurion" by John Ringo.
Plague, famine, etc.

We had an ice storm last week that knocked out the power for a few days. Very grateful for my preps and backup power. Looking at a foot or more of snow in a few days.

I have no idea what's going on with the eclipse warnings. It's definitely weird. Maybe it's just a general understanding that supplies are low and even a gray swan could cause a major disruption. No harm in topping up on gas, food, etc.

Love to all!

Kind of bumpy around here. Mr. TB is waiting at the drs. for them to read x-rays. We think he has pneumonia again. Kids can't make it after all for the eclipse and we're in for storms tomorrow.

Just another day in paradise.

Hope y'all are feeling better.

Cow thing isn’t good.
Not much lag between “discovering” Cow-to-Cow and the first Cow-to-Human confirmed infection.
It ain’t just the dairy kind either.

Can’t imagine a cull on the same level as chickens.

Just a heads up.

Some folks I know in Ky raise cattle. They told me that I should stock up on beef because they are selling their calves at 2x what they normally sell for adding that it’s very unusual and something is going on.

Perhaps the fires in Texas are putting pressure on the market?

Re: Coffee Crowd for Civilized Discourse on World Events
we've discussed this aka-bird flu in the other thread. have said things will pick up come spring as birds fly back north. b that for real bird flu cases or the excuse the govern will use for outbreaks.

if u look at maps on bird flu, the cases are mostly in the north near the GL's. came from CANADA's metros. the outbreak in TX has claims it started with the wildfires. as cows are sold and trucked, it is spreading. so far, that outbreak looks to b some other animal virus that has mutated. claims so far point to it affecting older cows. there are known viruses that cross from deer to cows.

they keep using terms to cover up covid and what is really happening. saying bird flu keeps ppl from linking covid with it. at the same time the more diseases they can throw out to MSM, the lower the case #'s appear. so more ppl die but from normal illness or diseases, is the illusion.

for now the policy seems to b let it burn as long as ppl keep working while bunkers are filled with supplies. the news of a flu jumping back to humans leaves the door open to do a hard lockdown later or change policy in any way they want.

covid didn't go away. it is mutating sideways. the vax and covid are causing others to mutate. hard to tell which is a merge and which is a mutation.

what the governs have done and haven't over the last few yrs says their aren't enuf workers to bail the ship out. so the game of kick the can is now a game of chicken.

so many threads that important 1's get buried deeper. been having to scan titles 6 pages deep lately. instead of ppl posting in 1 thread, they start new 1's. no offence to SC. take the eclipse, how many threads we need? this also buries important info in them and u never get feedback.
