This is a real asshole virus.
I’m 7 days in and still showing immediate and bold line on the self tests.

I feel like I have a cold and still get tired but making improvements.

I’ve not tried apples. But I’ve had a lot of peach juice and apparently it doesn’t help so we can remove that fruit from the list.

Do you have any Oregano oil??? Make sure it is at least 60% carvacrol - quality brands will have the % right on the label.

Have a tidbit to share.

Speaking to a prominent virologist, I will not name said virologist.

This is what he said: The new strain of omnicron (I think some are calling it Centarous), is insanely contagious, and unlike the previous omnicron, it is far more virulent and making people far sicker.

He also said that the booster number three losses all effectiveness against this strain in about 20 days. So, IMO, unless you have major health issues, it is not worth the risk to vaxx and/or boost.

I read threads on /pol the other day about CERN conspiracies and people were attributing things like the Boris Johnson resignation and Abe's assassination to CERN having opened a gateway that shifted our timeline. It's probably poppycock, but I thought that was interesting.

Overall, I'm happy with my life (as an individual).

But if I shift outward from myself to society, I think we're in for a wild couple of years. The Sri Lanka stuff and the farmers in the Netherlands acting out against WEF/Klaus Schwab/NWO agenda 2030 is, in its chaos, inspiring. I don't know if Americans have it in us to stand up for ourselves. We've experienced 2 years of attacks on our food supply with mysterious fires and destruction at production facilities, but we still have our chicken tendies and our technology, so we aren't ready to rebel (yet). In America, too many people believe in woke Marxism, whether that be racial or environmental...I mean, the nitrogen stuff in the Netherlands is just dumb-did they really think farmers would just bend over and take it?

Anyone else feeling numb? I used to feel more emotions, good, bad and all in between. Lately, I am more numb.

I understand "things" are not good, in my country or the world. I do care and hope "things" will improve but, I don't think they will any time soon. I am trying to prepare my household for all the potential bad that could occur next.

For example, I am concerned about power grid failure, even more so in the Winter since I live in a cold climate. Without power, healthy water could be an issue. My solution was to purchase a wood burning stove, firewood is coming soon and the chimney installation. The house could be heated with the wood stove and water boiled on top of that stove. In the event of an extended power grid failure, the heat and water issue are solved.

I spend time thinking about what should be done, to protect my household during this crazy insane times. On a day to day basis, I do what is expected of me; go to work, clean the house, do laundry, mow the lawn, shop for food, etc.

I am functioning, but, I don't feel much emotion. There are moments when I feel happy or sad but in general, I am numb. Anyone else having a similar experience?

You're not the only one. A lot of us are just going through the motions because until something actually happens, real life goes on, laundry needs done, bills need paid, house needs cleaned, etc.

I've found the best thing to do (for me) is to focus on one task that needs done right away, and finish it. That takes my mind off other things, and if you do one of those each day, your daily life continues as before.

The wood burning stove was a good choice. Having actually gone through a major winter storm without power but being able to heat the house with firewood gave me a big boost on my confidence that we can survive a complete loss of technology for an extended period of time.

One suggestion: When it gets cold enough to have a fire, do a practice run and heat the house for 24 hours with it. Keep track of how much wood you use in that 24 hours so you know how much you need to get through an entire winter.

Did you get one with a catalytic combustor?

I want a wood stove for my house so bad. Not sure I will get it before winter, trying to get someone out for a quote but not having luck.

I am getting a quote for new windows though and those will help tremendously in the winter. I have solar that will run the blowers in my propane furnaces and space heaters...and have a wood stove in the garage for backup so I'm not too worried yet.

Although my pre-buy propane is 2.45 this year...yikes...I was paying around 1.70 last winter, no pre-buy.

I don't have air ducts/furnace system or else I would go with an outdoor wood boiler system without hesitation. As it stands, a small wood stove would work fine in the house without all the extra work needing to be done.

its already mid July, I don't have much time

hiding

Oh also going to get a freeze drier while I can. Will really help food prepping as it can do so much more than my dehydrator and the food will last longer and be easy to transport if needed.

Clocks a ticking it seems, stay safe everyone. Get those last preps in while you can. Crap I need to stock up on pet food too! ahhhh

hf

ETA: yes, feeling so numb. I don't like it one bit.

15 cords, wow. That could not have been cheap. But a damn fine supply of wood if SHTF.

Fortunately for us, in addition to the four racks I already had stockpiled, we took down nine dead ash trees on our property last month. Only have half of them split and stacked so far, but once I'm done, we can easily make it through an entire winter with that.

This is for Jazz... Graphic on some MP stats in terms what it takes to kill it

Graphic on temps and things that kill MP

yeah, this is harder to deal with than covid. we need acid not just bleach. and it survives on stuff a long time.

that also applies to healthcare workers and them getting infected easier with this.

Hi JAZZz50, bleach can kill monkeypox, cheers. :-)

Anything tier 1 virus disinfectant (same as Covid) all can kill monkeypox.

TY, WHITE. problem i see is the contact time. 3mins in contact with the solution. that is why i went to bleach baths for covid.

that time is why society will fail to stop this. most are unaware of that time. they think spraying a table and wiping it off is enuf. that is a long time for the wet solution to b on each inch of a surface. they'd have to almost pour bleach onto tables and spread it out. wait 3 mins and then wipe it off. no minimum wage worker is goina do that.

that time applies to tables, elevator buttons, door handles, desks at schools, food packages, grocery carts, and any other hard surface ppl could have contaminated.

note- for clothing or any other porous surface, that time ain't long enuf.

so wiping down the mail won't kill all virus particles. even if the wipes were saturated, which they are not and are dryer now than 2 yrs ago, u'd have to hold the wipe over each inch for 3 mins. how long would it take to do just 1 box of food?

covid doesn't survive well on surfaces. the sun also helps kill it. pox can linger in air longer as well.

ppl are getting exposed to covid via removing those cheap masks. the masks catch the virus. they also are using the old thinking- "u can tell who is sick" and visiting ppl without masks. otherwise , i do think the cases would have been higher than they were.

Re: Coffee Crowd for Civilized Discourse on World Events
with MP- the time it survives in air was listed at 3-4 days. i thought we had a post back in MAY on the time it survives on surfaces as well. we can assume the same time frame for hard surfaces.

so someone with MP touches stuff in the grocery store and puts it back on the shelf. that is contaminated. also, everything in the store is contaminated since the air is contaminated. and so is your clothing, women's purses, your shoes, etc since u walked thru contaminated air.

they ain't got to breath without a mask to cause that either. the pox sheds from the sores on their face and hands as well.
what about their swetting?

our regimin for covid won't b as effective for MP. there are holes in it. masks and gloves works well for covid. covid dies off faster. u can bring the MP home, forget it, and it can bite u days later.

the govern has ppl with covid returning to work even when they are contagious. imagine how the public will like that with these sores. a disease that they can see and know is not the flu.

Block AC viewing as well.

As of yesterday, I know 3 more people with COVID. Thus far, nasty cold symptoms, but they are all young and healthy.

It's been increasing among our circle of family and friends as well, same as you describe it. Mostly nasty cold symptoms.

There's a part of me that wants to believe this virus is going to mutate itself down to where it's manageable like the Spanish Flu did, but I just can't forget that this thing escaped from a level 4 biolab and showed indications of genetic manipulation. That's why I'm not letting my guard down just yet. We'll see what happens over the next 18 months or so and then I might start to relax.

If we're still here, that is.
 Quoting: Riff-Raff

I remember back in the day, when 'nasty cold symptoms' were simply just a 'cold'.

The only thing that escaped from the lab in China was media driven fear.
