Long time paid GLP member here; posted pretty often early on the main COVID thread; have not posted on GLP much recently and have been contemplating leaving as I can’t stand how ACs derail pretty much any informative thread lately.

Glad to see this thread; it will certainly help!

On the COVID front, for the first time in forever, I know multiple people with COVID. Mostly with mild to medium (bad flu) symptoms; all vaxxed and boosted. I have some business travel coming up soon so I’m not thrilled with this.

I have never tested positive for COVID in spite of multiple serious exposures to people who soon after came down with it. I suspect I had it early on but it was before testing was widespread. I am vaxxed and boosted as I had no choice (for my job and also to see my family that lives overseas). I do not want any more boosters under any circumstance.

The Monkeypox outbreak is suspicious and concerning, but I’m just getting up to speed on it.

For those that have expressed how COVID has destroyed there world(s) mine too—I work in the travel industry and travel as I knew and loved it has been destroyed and probably will never come back. I’m super depressed by it.

As for that NYC Nuclear video? Kinda scary, like why now??
