ERCOT calls for energy conservation with record Texas power demand [ link to www.msn.com (secure)] We've hit over 100 for I don't know how many days now, and no relief in sight. Miserable. Our current heat index is 113. It's 117 here. We love it. How can you love that? It starts here in May and it's hot until October. I can't stand it. We don't like the heat either. We'd rather it be -80 than +80.
