Anyone else feeling numb? I used to feel more emotions, good, bad and all in between. Lately, I am more numb.

I understand "things" are not good, in my country or the world. I do care and hope "things" will improve but, I don't think they will any time soon. I am trying to prepare my household for all the potential bad that could occur next.

For example, I am concerned about power grid failure, even more so in the Winter since I live in a cold climate. Without power, healthy water could be an issue. My solution was to purchase a wood burning stove, firewood is coming soon and the chimney installation. The house could be heated with the wood stove and water boiled on top of that stove. In the event of an extended power grid failure, the heat and water issue are solved.

I spend time thinking about what should be done, to protect my household during this crazy insane times. On a day to day basis, I do what is expected of me; go to work, clean the house, do laundry, mow the lawn, shop for food, etc.

I am functioning, but, I don't feel much emotion. There are moments when I feel happy or sad but in general, I am numb. Anyone else having a similar experience?
