We've had some close calls like that, too. Thankfully, we haven't gotten crunched yet.
One thing I've noticed is people are truly acting like zombies. They just stare straight ahead and push right through even when there's not a soul in their direction but me! At first, I didn't think too much about it, but it's happening at least once, every time we're out. I think I'm not going to move out of the way next time and see what happens.
I don't know why people are doing this, but they can't be watching where they're going. I wonder if they'll run into me with their cart?
Quoting: Texan Buckeye Same here. People at the grocery shoving their carts around like they are the only person in the store. Something is clearly going on with a large number of people. Just got back from the dealership -- $9800.00 in damage, and that is assuming they do not find any other damage to the cameras, sensors or exhaust system when they remove the bumper. Thank God for insurance. Quoting: Lady Jane Smith Shouldn't the other driver's insurance be paying for the damage? Quoting: Riff-Raff IF we can get her to give insurance info. I think we know what that means ..... Quoting: Lady Jane Smith Wow, that sucks. Texas must have some strange insurance laws. In Indiana, neither party is allowed to leave the scene of an accident before providing proof of insurance to the other driver or a police officer. If they don't have insurance, that driver is placed 100% at fault for the accident and it's an automatic six months driver's license suspension.
