Here's real advice. When society collapses due to a lack of food or gas or whatever, you need to rather be in a large group with your neighbors and form a community, or bug out to the woods.

Solo survival is near impossible, people will try to kill you and take your shit if you bug in alone/with just your family.

OPSEC is a huge part of survival along with not standing out.

You would still need to lose weight, look unkempt, smell terrible and at least appear to decline just like others do. Ideally, you are no where near anyone outside of your group. People will be viscous.
