The Book of Psalms or Tehillim, psalmos in the Greek, is not what it appears to be on the surface. It's not meant to be read, but sung.

And it's meant to be sung in a very specific way in the original H*br*w. When that is done, some really interesting things can happen.

It's a book of incantations.
