Here is the story from yesterday. Of course CNN low key denounces the hero who saved so many lives because he was strapped.

Cover yourselves with kevlar and bubblewrap.

Only vaxxed dying off. Keep calm and carry on.

I had one recently that freaked me out bad. My chainsaw blade hit my leg and went through my pants but didn't touch my skin. I couldn't believe I was still alive. Maybe we aren't done with what we came here to do.

If nothing less, it is a powerful reminder that the line between this life and the next is extremely thin.

It’s a good time to be grateful to the only true God. Perhaps He was watching over you and your loved ones during both of those episodes? We’re thankful you weren’t harmed and that you have this opportunity to grow closer to Him!

I agree that times are getting weird.

When the first movie theater shooting happened a few years back, we stopped going into theaters.
For a shooter, that's like fish in a barrel.

We have a nice home life so we rarely ever journey out anymore.
I might brave a trip to the beach gulf coast after everyone's Rugrats go back to school.
I love a big empty beach so we go down to the 4 wheel drive zones and its completely heaven.
No stupid asshats playing loud music and screaming, just an empty beach with the safe and seagull sounds.

It recharges my soul once a year.

Other than that, we stay home out
of the crazies and only grocery shop 2x a month.

Probably a good idea to keep the kids away from you. heh.

One must act like they're in a warzone every single time they exit their residence. Carry concealed. Head on a swivel. Sit facing the door with your back to the wall if possible when out and about. Look for all entries/exits and observe body language of every one you encounter and keep your distance as much as possible from unknown individuals. Use reflections to your advantage. Stay silent and de-escalate in confrontation, but train to be ruthless with deadly precision as that might prove to be necessary.

Situational awareness is paramount in these times.

Sometimes whether one crosses that thin line or not is up to a matter of God's will.

It is both a sign to stop and breath and to be appreciative and grateful for the things we have and those who surrond us.

Whether its a gunman, chainsaw blade or in my case a sudden heart palpation+ concussion, you never know when your number may be called, its just a reminder carried by a spirit in the wind.
