This is why all this religious favoritism - that apparently explains everything except for those innocently killed in any tragedy - does not appeal to my common sense at all.

I stay far away from the 'my God is better than your God' - or 'God was looking at for only meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee' crowd.

Anybody can claim religious exception. But in my reality, 'God' didn't help me one bit during my human trafficking, 20 plus surgeries, etc. And I never hurt anybody intentionally and was once very trusting of others. BIG mistake.

The reason I'm alive is because of my defensive skills for one and situational awareness skills as another. I cannot explain why all the surgeries (from human trafficking) - my latest being my 10th kidney stone surgery (still recovering).

And so on. I'm used to living in an insane world - trusting no one of course. Events change on a dime. So now it's only isolation and withdrawal from society as much as possible. This after six decades on the planet. And it feels great.

IMO, you left yesterday 30 minutes prior the shooting by God's advise. The fact that the car ahead of you was hit would be a mere coincidence(but I would start taking another route).

I live in Greenwood. Dude was armed pretty well, a "long gun" and a Glock 33. 100 or more rounds of ammo. Brought the guns in broken down, then assembled in restroom. Got off 24 shots before 22 year old good old boy sent him to meet Jesus with 10 pieces of lead jewelry for the ride. I know what you are talking about tho, I was t-boned TWICE in a 2 week period in May. Both red light runners. Second one nearly killed me. Back in the 1980s my brother just missed a High School classmate that went into an unemployment office and killed everyone in their.

My brother said if he had been in that office the guy would have killed him also, because they didn't like each other.

The shooter was chased by the police and had a shootout on the freeway, where the the shooter was gunned down.

My girlfriend's mother happened to be eating lunch in her car, and had a full view of the shootout, and the killing of the shooter.

The murder of all those office workers didn't even make National News. Back in the 1980s such an event was called "Going Postal," because disgruntled postal workers were always killing all their coworkers.

Today even the smallest shooting is covered Nationally, to change gun laws.
