Then one of the disciple said they have 2 swords and Jesus said that is enough? 1. Why did this happen after 3.5 years of teaching? 2. What does selling the cloak mean? 3. What do the swords represent? 4. Why was 2 swords enough? This is because this episode represents the midway point of the tribulation period. The man-child/white horse rider training of the multitude in the wilderness for the 1260 days is complete. They have been hidden away from the face of the devil to be trained and now the cloaking is removed and the multitude of saints goes out into the world 2 by 2 speaking the word of God which is like the swords. 2 is enough because Deuteronomy says that "by the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses let every matter be established." |
