I used to own a real straight jacket with the crotch strap removed. Interesting fact; it is illegal to own a straight jacket with the crotch strap fully intact and functioning. When you see escape artists escape from a straight jacket, they always have the crotch strap removed entirely or it is only partially functioning. It is nigh on impossible to escape from a fully function straight jacket, though Houdini claimed that he could. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79707302 I live in Phoenix, and there is already talk about extreme water rationing going to be put in place here. It's not water you'll have to worry about, It's food. They are going to pay farmers not to plant to 'save Lake Mead'. Phoenix draws water from Lake Havasu, which is doing fine. 95% The water at Roosevelt Lake is up and down. They say they're trying to 'drown' the vegetation around the lake. Apache, Canyon and Saguaro Lakes are all 93-95% full. |

Simply the problem is and has being caused by users of the river and government management(for often personal financial gain. [link to www.opensecrets.org (secure)] most of their money is spent at the local level). Slow power production down by 10%(back to levels it was 8 years ago through most of history) and free the water HELD upstream, and the lake would recover in probably less than 2 weeks....but that would not serve democrats climate alarmist. |
