Russia is a sleeping giant

They should have been dictating to the US what to do for decades

Alas.. Putin is an intelligence agent.. not a financial master of the universe

We all have our strengths

you're really into brics...i bet you're working hard to do your part in making it happen.

if you're young, maybe you'll live long enough to see something happen with it.

my bet would be that the next generation of leaders in brics countries won't be as enthusiastic as this one and they'll try other things.

most of its members seem to be led by dictators so they may make a lot of progress being that they rule so long compared to other countries with elections.

the biggest problem i see with brics is this ... Refining Capacity.

they have natural resources but don't have the infrastructure in place to make them into much of anything.

and with the 'green' movement and global warming, i don't see where a new industrial revolution picking up much steam.

i was looking at Satellite photos of Earth at night.

most of the brics countries are black...that's because they are underdeveloped for the efficient exploitation of natural resources; heavy industry. where will the miners take their haul?

even russia...a big black blob.

in the United States we have a highly developed Industrial Sector, even if its currently under-utilized.

We have a culture of Heavy Industry...Lumberjacks and Miners have Songs for Children that have been sung for over 100 years.

for example:

it will take 100 years of devoted effort to build such a force in other countries. culturally, i don't think it'll fly. being that most of the world is soft in the ass.

a Master Degree in Material Science from MIT just ain't gonna get this type of work done.

shit, i showed you how to derive value estimates just last month and you didn't seem to know even the basics.

your brics economy will depend on the Industrial Capacity of places similar to what Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Detroit, for example, once were... Great Lakes industrial Cities reborn.

your vision will take a while to be manifest.

what does that mean...you think if you wait long enough, precious metals will appear on the grounds surface and refine themselves?

I don't think so.

You're going to have to go into the mine, you'll actually have to chop down the trees, you'll have to dig holes a miles deep.

for example:

This is the Kola Superdeep Borehole, the deepest manmade hole on Earth and deepest artificial point on Earth. The 40,230ft-deep (12.2km) construction is so deep that locals swear you can hear the screams of souls tortured in hell.

and that is why brics will fail. Brics is bunch of managers and salesmen printing reports and giving speeches and not enough Men to do the work.

it won't be long before Labor is kicking in the doors of people like you because you don't value their role in the work that needs to be done.

as long as we're looking at big pictures, now.

the saudis won't do the Labor...that's to low brow for the land of 100,000 princes. they import labor from other lands and treat them like shit.

probably the same for Iran.

India still has farmers using wooden plows pulled by an Ox.

Brazil is still mostly rain forest with a bunch of indigenous tribes that want people like you gone.

big picture man.
