Why is the Nancy Pelosi delegation flying on an official aircraft of the US government? This can't be an official visit because it is outside of Congressional purview. This type of visit is under executive branch purview, the US State Department! We have a separation of powers.

If Pelosi wants to do this, Pelosi must arrange private transportation either the airlines or private jet. If Pelosi secures an US asset like the plane she is on, she must compensate from her own private funds for the luxury as well as expenses for an US naval escort if needed.

This is a gross violation of protocol. This is a Department of State matter not a congressional matter.

Pelosi's aircraft has been intercepted by Chinese fighter jets, and is currently being escorted to the Chinese mainland.

The press release out of Beijing states all occupants will be detained indefinitely for illegally entering Chinese airspace.

Needless to say, tensions are at a breaking point, and this will likely lead to direct military conflict between China and the United States.
