Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyone else go to Dayton Air show? As a kid, late 70's and early 80's dad took us to the shows done at military bases (Andrews AFB for Thunderbirds and Patuxent NB for Blue Angels) While watching the show in Dayton today it didn't seem like the same level of precision and danger I remember as a kid. Could be because viewing things as a kid is very different than viewing as a 53 year old. Anyone else have points of reference like this ? If so, what do you think, same level of precision as back in the day or not so much? Also found it interesting that show ended with 5 planes in the air instead of the 6 they started with. About half way into the show one landed. OU8122 |

I grew up always being at a place behind the airport watching all weekend. Where I live you can see some things. Saw the blue angels turning around last Saturday. I have always loved the air show, but will never go again after seeing those deaths. |
