i think the case could be made that his character is just as irredeemable, if not more so, than walter white.

Well said.. No one is thinking his phone call was being told she is dead. I just find that a possibility

i heard it listed as a possibility...but it seems a lot of people think that he was prevented from speaking to her by whoever runs where she works.

i thought it might be possible he asked her for money and she told him no.
the gene timeline is 6 years after they split and she got her share of the sandpiper settlement too.

i don't think she's dead...based on gene's reaction. he got rejected in some fashion.

Last episode was the worst (distracted Mall guards so some idiot could steal a few articles of clothing from the Mall).

the writers said that the other side of the call would be revealed before the end.

i'm not super invested....i was just curious as to the evolution of this character and now i think he should put be put out of his misery.

You really missed the point of committing that crime.

I would have said that too....but when you see the flashback and remember that it was saul's greed that caused him to connect WW to Gus...against Mike's stern advice...and all of them died as a direct result.

If saul does like mike says and drops WW...WW doesn't ever cook for gus.

I was thinking the same thing, it's based on a story we already got a kind of ending for and it is straight boring.

I think the show might surprise you. It's getting dark. Him stealing from a man dying of cancer shows he has completely lost whatever heart he had as Jimmy. He is almost turning into Walter White,in that he is becoming an evil version of himself. He has nothing left to lose if Kim is dead or wont acknowledge him. Maybe he wont care if he dies.

Rhea Perlman directed episode 4 of this season 6, and it was excellent. Some great shots a d the pacing was fantastic. She plays Kim Wexler.
