Main thing is this, the bottom line is to get out of a restaruannt job like that at any cost. sometimes it is not possible though, since you can actualy make more money at denny's than at a grocery store.

I waited tables for a deceade, but mostly at higher end places after i got tired of chili's which is still a step up from Denny's.

Their job sucks, their life there at denny's sucks, when the health inspector came into chili's we were mostly clean and nobody would let someone do anything really unsanitary.

However there are tons of small rules and stuff that needs to be in place, most stuff int he kitchen wasnt even stickered with a date.

That guy would sit out in the front for up to 30 minutes filling out paperwork while we would run around the back like chickens with out heads cut off putting labels on stuff and tongs in the lemons etc.

I cant imagine how bad it is after the inflation and pandemic, that place looked pretty empty. Plus they are in ATL so if they wait on mostly black people its hell, i did in a couple places and they are just crazy.

Even the civilized and normal blacks in other areas of life because trust me alot of them are, once they sit down and start ordering its like the twilight zone.


the bottom line is those jobs suck and are stressful, so i cant really blame these people although they completley fucked up assaulting a news crew on camera, they might have to move across the country to find work.
