You say Russia, no it was not Russia, it was the Communists that took over Russia, and they were called the USSR, and those communists were horrible. They had to live in their country under these people and it was as if they had a choice.

The communists were atheists and didn't want people being in God or his son. They used their people from the time they took over until they are finally worn down to a crawl. It was very hard for them to understand what to do after communism because they were born into it; some older people remembered but most were either older or so young they didn't know much. Many still had religious belief systems and these churches still existed but they did not have a say in any way whatsoever. Russian Orthodox is their majority religion based on Eastern Greek Catholic, instead of the western Vatican Church.

I read about Putin's early life with this Church and they helped him as a child. So, he was involved with this Church.
He became a KGB agent but had more of a planning and paperwork duty because he was good at this skill. Think of how a business needs planning well this would be something he was good at. Someone said he was into details, memory, and details. This was before he became president.
