A few year back in one of the Carolinas where it was flat our illegal to have Sex with a female if she was under 18, YEP ... EVEN IF MARRIED (marriage was OK at 16) there was a Female Prosecutor who used DNA evidence from newborns to send the biological father TO PRISON!!

YEP even send Men who were LEGALLY MARRIED to the woman who gave birth she was SENDING TO PRISON.

Two 17 year olds have sex? ... the MALE IS TO GO TO PRISON was her strict "Law and Order" Approach to her job. Married? ... NO DEFENSE ... off to the State Prison the male goes for several years.

The entire testing of newborn's DNA is a sticky wicket.

Traditionally woman have totally opposed the testing of their new born's blood, even wrt old style Blood Typing, because of the the issue of Paternity Fraud (old studies indicated that 25% to 35% of all newborns in days of old using just blood typing, before DNA testing even existed, could NOT be the child of the father listed on the Birth Certificate).

"IF" they are going to rule this is legal then the alleged fathers of those newborns who are tested should have access to those results so they can see if they are REALLY THE FATHER of the newborn.

Paternity Fraud is STILL a huge issue in the United States, costing non-fathers in the many BILLION$$ of Dollars each year, and if the government is going to go down this route of DNA Testing it is time to Shine The Light on this dark corner Fraudulent Behavior.
