Re: BREAKING...UPS soon to get their asses sued off
Years ago gave a package to fed ex and they lost it and the more questions I asked the more evasive they got. Ultimately they told me it was blown up by the government. Sheesh it was clothing that my friend in college asked me to mail her and it had some snacks. I have to buy my friend all new clothes on my dime they refused to compensate me even a penny kept telling me to "read the fine print" and that the gov. blew up the package".

It’s not your property until it’s delivered and you sign for it hero. If you somehow believe you going to get an airplane in exchange for a 5 to 600 hundred dollar package you have lost your mind. And frankly, a Baker Act should be filed against you whereas they remove any weapons you currently own or possess and prevent you from purchasing another one. Your insane ranting post here will be used against you so keep going…please

Also UPS no longer requires a signature. Our driver drops the shit off out front and drives away. And while its not my property until i receive it, it is still the property of the gun store who sent it to me. When I get a refund for undelivered parcels, that store owner is out the money.
Most guns show up to the gun store by UPS in that case the gun manufacturer is out and UPS now has unregistered weapons floating around which could land them in federal trouble.

you are a fucking left wing buttercup and cannot follow the general jist of a subject If I pay for a product it is mine whether the carrier delivers it or not if they decide to keep it destroy it or other, the person I bought the object from owes me money and UPS or whatever carrier is in question owes the person who shipped the merchandise the value of it... I know the concept is hard for a second grade education to grasp but try harder buttercup

Who the guck do these assholes think they are? You can't go around seizing people's private property and destroying it you are the carrier and it doesn't make the property you're carrying yours but you are a responsible for the condition of it I know that if you destroyed any of my property I would sue the f*** out of you and own one of those pretty big airplanes

Another gen-z/millennial retard speaks out his/her/its ass.

First off, “bro”, as soon as you pay for it, IT’S YOUR PROPERTY, as the payment effectuated immediate transfer. The carrier is merely bringing YOUR OWN PROPERTY to you. They have a BAILMENT, a responsibility, to deliver YOUR PROPERTY to YOU. If they fail to deliver YOUR PROPERTY, they are liable.

Btw, all caps MEANS I’M YELLING AT YOU, ON PURPOSE. Now, go fetal and suck your thumb.

As someone who has had to deal with lost or damaged packages, the shipper is the party that has standing with the shipping company. You can yell yourself blue but UPS and FedEx won't give you the time of day until the shipper gets involved.

I used to work in the purchasing department of a hospital and had to deal with this situation again and again.

Standing, yes, as far as the carrier is involved, but the goods are nevertheless your property as soon as payment is rendered.

On this point I agree. The exchange of money for a good or service is a contract between yourself and the vendor. If the package disappears then the vendor needs to follow through. And it will be vendors that need to bring action against carriers to get their product to you.
