it’s hard to feel sympathy for thieves

is the guy being robbed supposed to wait and see if the robber has a weapon or should he act fast to protect his life and property?

I would assume someone jumping behind a counter is either armed or willing to hit and fight dirty, the employee just got the jump on him like he should have

stab first and ask questions later if someone storms the counter
