Does Cognitive Dissonance, alone, provide "Them (TM)" with Loosh?

Can it be that Cognitive Dissonance is enough of it's own little perpetual trauma making engine that it gives the Loosh feeders enough of a consistant hit that they do not need to go as far as full fear/terror/oppression?

I ask because I was contemplating the nature of the many dichotomies "They" float at us lately with no apparent payoff or manifestation into reality. I assumed they are trying to manifest a darker and more dystopian realm.

However, if their only real need is for consistant loosh, maybe the dichotomy, itself, gives them everything they need?

Or is it just a new tendency for their designs to fail to manifest the way they used to? Or maybe they discovered cognitive dissonance has a more sophisticated flavor than fear/terror/death/destruction?
