I remember reading about when he was casted as the Russian scientist in the second Iron Man movie, the wardrobe and makeup crew refused to work with him because of his horrific body stench, he wore the clothes he came in to the studio and filmed in them, his hair is long, dirty, and greasy looking in the movie because it is his normal everyday appearance.
