I definitely enjoy not having to vote in super long lines on election day-I love early voting. That being said, I'm not a fan of, since we have early voting, mail-in voting, AND voting on election day, having to take an additional several days to a week to finalize vote counts. I would prefer as a registered voter (who is SOOOO registered that I've been called for jury duty) to have any mail-ins and early votes calculated and ready to go so that on election day you add election day votes to the non-traditional methods.

It defeats the purpose of having an election if you can't have all of the votes calculated on that day or by the end of that day. People don't like to wait several days for results. We can know reality TV vote totals instantly, so it shouldn't take days & days to count eligible votes.

I'm in NY, so my vote won't really count, but I'll cast it anyway. The last time I went in, for a Republican primary, at the table for my district, the old biddies handing out ballots double-checked my info and exclaimed, loudly and incredulously, HE'S A...REPUBLICAN!!! (they were going to hand me a Democrat ballot). We have woke tyranny here and it's going to get worse because we are teaching CRT to NY's children (Culturally Responsive Teaching), and it is steeped in woke marxism, so up & coming voters will further dilute the power of my vote...and still I'll cast it anyway.
