the absolute easiest is the one that goes underyour meter head.

remove meter, remove plug in xferswitch, reinsert meter done-5 minutes tops.

some powercompanies no likey though

its all about voltage.line power does 1000v and up.
like for mining equipment.
if its home voltage,any old home breaker box will do.

My meter is a quarter mile away. I’m looking for something I can take my six breakers from the main panel and route them through a transfer switch.

Generac is the most expensive, is it worth it?

Do not use the cheap CHYNA crap.

I had a Generac transfer switch and it's a good product. Be sure to check with your local utility and code, you have to be very careful with a transfer switch. When the power goes out and your generator is running, you do not want to backfeed power into utility lines, it could kill the linesmen repairing the line.

How much will you save when your home burns down from "Chyna"?

Get a high quality American made one

Don't be asleep at the switch...

Expensive is your house burning down due to cheap electrical parts. Also if you install without permit you may void insurance coverage if applicable.
